Akira Himegami, who awakens from cryogenic sleep 200 years after an assassination attempt that left him in a coma. He finds a futuristic world ruled by a powerful organization called OWEL, which seeks to control pre-apocalypse technology. While struggling to understand this new world, Akira is rescued by Yugure, an android who proposes marriage to him, and embarks on a journey with her to find his love, Towasa, whom he believes is still alive.
